Description

New Directions Addiction Recovery Services (NDARS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was established in 2011 and is located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Our purpose is to support recovery from addiction. NDARS provides a broad network of services within the areas of advocacy, treatment and continued support. An entity of NDARS, The Other Side, provides healthy sober entertainment. Through Wake the Nation, we serve the community by building awareness through education of the growing drug epidemic. As well, New Directions Sober Living provides housing solutions for those living in recovery.

To continue to provide these benefits and services of recovery, we are planning our first annual fundraising event on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help fund additional services at our sober living houses, such as life coaching and job search assistance. This event will be hosted by former Chicago Blackhawks player Brent Sopel and will feature guest speaker, Brandon Novak, Actor and Author of “Dreamseller”. Dinner, refreshments, bowling and bocce ball will be provided. Live Auction hosted by Chad & Jill Coe. Live Performances by Althea Grace

Activities for our event will include an auction and raffle, and we’re asking for your support in the form of new items that can be auctioned or raffled during the evening. Company donations will be recognized in event program, social media campaigns, email newsletter, annual report, and live event mentions. Any donation will go a long way toward helping our clients live a life of recovery. Our hope is that this event will bring our community together to further our cause.

If you have questions or need assistance with your donation, please email at info@ndars.org

Thank you so much for your consideration of New Directions Addiction Recovery Service’s efforts to help recovering from substance use disorders in our community.
